Because I do not agree with you on many of your views, I follow you. I follow you because I want to hear views that differ from mine to help me understand and possibly consider that our differences are what make this life of ours challenging. I stand behind my conservative beliefs for the same reason you do, I love America! So with an open mind and open heart I can only express sadness over all of the events on the left and right, the losses. Losses of real humans. It is my firm belief that the advances in technology, social media that should be called unsocial media, is tearing down our humanity.

My Liberal beliefs compel me to read everything and everyone, who makes coherent points.

Thank you for bringing up the name I have not heard. How many people does he represent?

Politically motivated violence in the US is still rather rare, but data from CATO shows that it’s much more prevalent from right wing ideologies. Check out the report here:

Curious, in the last 5-10-dozen assassinations and attempts, how many were done by the right wingers?

You nailed it. Ironic, isn't it, that the people who were screaming the loudest about cancel culture (which I think we can all agree is itself awful) would weaponize the levers of power to cancel and persecute their enemies?

Come on Supreme Court.

Cheeto And Nazi Rigging Of Elections

Here are measures that can be taken to counter Nazi vigilante challenges that were outlined by Kristoffer Ealy, professor of Political Science in California

• Pre-bunk the narrative: keep hammering that “roll maintenance ≠ fraud” and that mass challenges are a suppression tactic, not a safeguard.

• Status checks at scale: push voters to verify registration early and often (especially students, renters, newly naturalized citizens).

• Ballot-cure infrastructure: fund cure teams, text banks, and hotlines so every fixable ballot gets fixed.

• Legal prep: be ready with TROs/injunctions the moment bulk challenges or data dumps appear; coordinate across states so motions aren’t reinvented 50 times.

• Poll observing & documentation: train observers to catch challenge abuse in real time and route evidence to litigators and reporters quickly.

• County-level pressure: attend election-board meetings now—force them to publish challenge procedures, timelines, and transparency requirements before the flood.

• Message discipline: frame this as voter harassment, not “election security.” Language matters.

There are three obvious rules that should apply here. (1) Prioritize evidence over accusations, (2) maintain the nonpartisanship of state rituals, and (3) sanction violent acts, not opinions. These are virtuous practices that seem to be lacking in too many countries.

First, with all due respect, Mr. Kasparov, I would not want a cruel coward like those who mocked Charlie Kirk’s murder as supervisors, subordinates, or co-workers. Why should I have to change my workplace just to avoid them?

Second, people are fired for bigoted or otherwise dishonest and cruel statements all the time, not just for mocking Kirk. When I was in the U.S. Army, a Southern White sergeant who worked for me got a troop (lower enlisted, not NCO) kicked out of the Army for saying something that was a coded statement in support of White racism. His code words seemed to come from the Aryan Nations. I supported my NCO.

Such bigots are untrustworthy and are anything BUT team players. They will destroy a unit if they get a chance to spread their hatred and they would have no problem killing a fellow soldier who’s a member of the group they hate. Why should anyone be forced to work with someone who hates them?

Third, if anyone says these people should be allowed to keep their jobs, I wonder they stood up for the White racists who were fired for participating in the White racist “Unite the Dight” rally. That’s a test for hypocrisy.

Fourth, none of these people are being silenced, detained, or arrested. If they were, their First Amendment rights would have been violated.

As for what Pam Bondi and JD Vance are saying: remember they’re trying to lick Trump’s boots. Even members of MAGA have vocally opposed what Bndi said she’d do (https://apple.news/Ak6hgKwChQN-Ez67YR-Rb3A) of course Trump supports her because he’s a megalomaniac who regards the Constitution as a speed bump on the way to his anointing as the god-king dictator.

“It is an extension of Trump’s policy of being president for only one half of the country”

Actually, if I read the election results correctly (actual vote count vs the __electoral college__) then he represents less than half the country.

Yes, you are correct - the reality is that in the Popular Vote The Felon received votes of appx one-third of eligible voters, nearly one third did not vote. In sheer numbers more voters voted for someone else than voted for him.

His margin of the Popular Vote, appx 1.5%, was smallest... margin ever.

This is a common bit of disinformation and gaslighting still spread by The Pedophile & Serial Rapist and his cult members, eg that "the majority" of Americans support him and his policies. It's interesting that the cult still tries to convince the rest of us that they are "a majority.

The republic may only be preserved by a free, intelligent, and educated people. Freedom of soul from vice and ignorance in the Dark Ages came from the opening of the Bible before the minds of people. The grace and blood of Christ forgave and freed people from their burdens, and set the stage for political freedoms and reforms, including the recognition of natural law—the inalienable rights of conscience over that of human laws; freedom of expression, equality of opinion before the law. In the midst of the moral decrepitude of 18th century England, John Wesley and his fellow reviled Methodist reformers arose, lovingly and patiently calling men back to Biblical standards of morality. 60 years later, at John Wesley’s deathbed, the most beloved man in England found England saved and preeminent in every sense. Her navies and armies ruled the world. Her humane, Christian reforms—her orphanages, her freed slaves, her humane working conditions—became a model for the nations. Moderates on both right and left—that is, liberal atheists and Christian conservatives, I am sure, can unite against demagoguery. However, this will require relearning that the basis of freedom of speech is an abhorrence of persecution, and a generous respect for others with whom we vehemently disagree.

"Condemn no man for not thinking as you think. Let every one enjoy the full and free liberty of thinking for himself. Let every man use his own judgment, since every man must give an account of himself to God. Abhor every approach, in any kind or degree, to the spirit of persecution, if you cannot reason nor persuade a man into the truth, never attempt to force a man into it. If love will not compel him to come, leave him to God, the judge of all." ~ John Wesley

I’m not inferring anything; I’m waiting for a story that fits reality.

Sadly, the situation is much more complicated than "To regain the trust of the public, Democrats ought to acknowledge this and commit to consistency in service of building something new.". Much of the ascendancy of the pro-censorship wing of the Left has been enabled by the weaponization of certain legal doctrines, e.g. about "hostile environment". You can't make these legal doctrines just go away. And nobody can effectively tell the abusive people to stop it, because they don't care.

Of course there should be a value driven response by the opposition. That is event worthy and broad based.

I was thinking maybe there would be a caisson funeral down Pennsylvania Ave for Charlie Kirk. But they have gone one better with a stadium "gala" planned where trump and co come to praise good ole Charlie. Dems need to create newsworthy events. And stop using 5 syllable words in their public statements. The list is endless. I tell them. They don't listen. So I bitch here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0pFoqSKcpnY&ab_channel=WBNS10TV This should have been Senate and House reps with a Dem governor or two thrown in.

Just as I though Garry Kimovich could not get lower, he proved me wrong again. Why Garry Kimovich, why??😢😢😢

You could have been professor Preobrazhensky and chose to be Sharikov. You could have been by now a Gazillionaire-owner of the most popular chess channel bar none, but chose to be a patsy, capo capone of the most MURDEROUS movement in history bar none, leftists, why???

You write: “Just a few months ago, Melissa Hortman, the Democratic speaker of the Minnesota House of Representatives was murdered along with her husband (and her dog!). Or that Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, another Democrat, was the target of an assassination attempt. A far-right militia’s plot to kidnap Michigan’s Democratic Governor Gretchen Whitmer in 2020 feels like ancient history.”

Is this the best you can do, Garry Kimovich?

May I remind you that EVEN Melisa Horman was MURDERED by the LEFTIST, unhappy that she made a mature decision to join opposition in accomplishing what state sorely needed.

And Governor Shapiro was a target of another LEFTIST unhappy with his anti-terrorist stance.

And May I remind you that governor Witmer plot was a false flag plot by FBI?

So are you this ignorant or just desperate to earn your keep from your LEFTIST masters in the most MURDEROUS Movement in history bar none?

At the very least, you gave a sensible guidance to your masters. Do you really think these Sharikovs have a basic decency to follow your advice?
