History will judge the complicit. It should also audit the machine that made complicity the rational move for almost everyone in the room. Rational is not a defense. It is a diagnosis. The machine explains him. It does not absolve him, and it does not un-break what he helped break.

Followers of the Cult. That's what has happened to the Republican Party. A few are just 'brainwashed',

I, but, it seems to me, there

are a few, (like Lindsay Graham) who know better, but prefer lying in order to remain in the Cult. They know a tragic reckoning time is coming, but they're willing to forfeit the bit of integrity left within them, destroying their own inner selves as well as the nation they pledged to protect

What you're saying, Judy, is that Graham was a hollow suit?

He may have calculated (correctly) that Trump would destroy him if he opposed him.

Even Trump couldn’t have done that if all the Republicans had stood firm.

Garry, despite your 100% accurate criticism of Sen. Graham, you are being far too kind. History will record Graham as a sycophant of the highest order, one who sucked up to Trump and deeply damaged the US in the process. He won't be remembered for supporting Ukraine.

Graham was 100% right about Trump: Trump is Reagan +++. Reagan began the war on the Middle Class, virtually destroying it. Trump has destroyed it and perhaps American democracy. "The evil that men do lives after them; the good is oft interred with their bones."

A true warmonger's blood-lust is never satisfied.

Graham never ran out of children to send to kill other children, but if he had, God only knows the hell he would have raised next.
