Gen McChrystal is someone I’d be be happy to be influenced by :) He mentioned the amorphous status of “character.” He then defines it as “convictions x self discipline.” Yet, that is still amorphous (I suspect less so in his book!). The critical and unaddressed question in this conversation: what convictions ought we have, particularly in 2025?
