This is excellent. Moving, informative, well-written, rich. Thank you. And thank you for the reminder of why America is great.

friends were in Berlin, just after the Wall came down. They recount incidents of following an obvious Easterner on their first walks through West Berlin, and every time, seeing them nearly break their necks the first time walking past a supermarket window. A display of oranges, there may as well have been a space-alien in the window.

Thank you for a gentle nudge written with knowledge and courage to all Americans that we have abundance at every turn of the pages we are still writing!

I'm reminded of Tucker Carlson's recent visit to a Russian supermarket. The ghost of Potemkin is smiling.

Gary, the Christmas before Covid I walked into my local grocery store and was overwhelmed with gratitude for the selections I was afforded. I even told a stock clerk that it is amazing that we have such abundance. He didn’t get it. I have never forgotten that experience. My parents were just starting out during WWll so they lived through the depression. I’m grateful for the experience I had because gratitude is a powerful feeling. Thank you for sharing this story with us.

Cheeto’s “Special” Envoy Witkoff Is Just Another Putin Ass Kisser

Follow the money It has been known for a long time that Cheeto has been in the pockets of Russian oligarchs since he was having trouble getting money for his real estate deals from American bankers with his past history of bankruptcies and poor money management This had pushed Cheeto to look toward Deutsche Bank for financing But why hassle with Western banks when you can get all you want from Motherland Russia?

Enter Steve Witkoff Cheeto’s New York real estate buddy who has followed Cheeto’s path to Moscow so both scumbags are in the pockets of the Kremlin Cheeto appoints Witkoff as a “special envoy” to work out a deal with Putin

Witkoff is special alright He’s so special that he’s in the Kremlin’s pocket as much as Cheeto Soooo as Lev Parnas reports about Witkoff’s job, "Don’t listen when the media tells you Witkoff is 'confused.' That’s the cover story. This isn’t confusion. It’s a deliberate stalling tactic. A distraction. A way to buy time while Russia pounds Ukraine with drones and missiles."

Thanks for reminding me that we have a lot in the US. Which we should be grateful for. Like a diverse supermarket!

I don’t mean to be cliche or anything, but did you ever identify with the film Moscow on the Hudson?
