I think that America kept saying “Oh he doesn’t mean it” when Trump said he was going to be a dictator on day one. Democracy needs to be defended by all means necessary. I have been following this and if America could or would have listened they would see that they got exactly what they voted for. I wish we could have stomped out MAGA but the media whores went with the money not the truth. The Afd is not hiding their intentions but the people don’t really believe that they could do that. People glom onto what they believe but don’t figure out that their freedom is the price. I think they should definitely ban them because they are not going to play fair if in power.
There should be an extraordinarily high bar that a government must clear to ban a political party. Disagreeing with a policy, even one that is widely supported, doesn't come close to meeting that threshold.

Time to fine tune constitutions, amendments, laws, regulations and examine motives and background of the politicians and legal guardians, checks & balances worldwide.
Rule number one: Character counts, for example, do not hire scofflaw businessmen with histories of serial bankruptcies and ties with criminal organizations and convictions for fraud and worse to guard the henhouse.
If there's one thing that could take down the AfD, it's most likely its cosiness with Putin's Russia and the associated espionage risks. It'd be like nabbing Al Capone on tax evasion.
