Excellent gary i agree, it's the same with internal politics here Democrats when we get back to gavel and hopefully the house and maybe even the Senate.
if the Old Guard just wants to have subpoenas and hearings in Congress and all that
it's completely wrong , and they should be ousted for it.
everybody out here wants blood, we want them indicted, prosecuted, and convicted put in prison.
and then also never to be allowed to run in politics in the United States ever again that's how you start to solve these problems
Trump’s Venezuela raid is being sold as a clean “win”, but the strategic ledger tells a very different story—and the implications run straight through India.I just broke down how the Maduro operation exposed America’s biggest weaknesses and road‑tested a three‑weapon playbook that’s already live in India’s information space. If you care about India’s strategic autonomy and how power actually operates behind headlines, this is worth a read.👉 Full analysis here:
Sorry, I just don't follow the logic. Why should the USA attack a foreign country? The USA has been committing war crimes for decades. Is this our best policy? Bewildering to me. OK, Maduro is evil. Is it the job of the USA to pick and choose evil dictators to replace? Nothing about this makes any sense regardless of Trump's involvement. George W. Bush couldn't be anymore different than Trump but he is still a war criminal. Huh?
I respect you very much and find your articles well reasoned. But I don't see either of you as Rambam resurrected... " A guide for the perplexed"? Really? Unless, of course, you can show me the equivalent of the Mishnei Torah that you wrote in your early 20's...
Marc Elias over at Democracy Docket outlines in a new video(https://bit.ly/3YoaUU1) how Cheeto’s corrupt DOJ has taken up the mantle to disenfranchise your vote and 2026 will be the year of the use of BIG DATA to screw you and your vote so as to not have a free and fair election This is not hyperbole or a fantasy The Nazis have already begun with redistricting Right now the state Nazi legislatures are using their own voter data at the state level to make up these discriminatory unfair redistricting maps in Texas and Florida is set to redistrict(https://bit.ly/4psv0Hy)
According to Bannon since the Nazi Republican party cannot win elections based on policy alone fundamental to the MAGA movement is the ability to suppress the vote Since states collect multiple data points on voters and run their own elections these data sets become building blocks for voter suppression This began in North Carolina as early as 2013 when the legislature gerrymandered the map in their favor
Any program that seeks to disenfranchise voters, suppress voter turnout, suppress voter registration, challenge voters right to vote begins with having voter data DOJ constitutionally does not oversee elections but they have sued 20 purple and blue swing states for access to personal voter data Any Nazi Republican effort needs to have your data in order to prevent you from having your vote count
So please talk to your friends, neighbors, relatives, family members and make them aware of what is at stake in 2026 and 2028 Don’t be intimidated Stand up and fight against this assault Make sure your voting information is correct
Good article, but I have some skepticism about US unilateral military action against dictators, so even if Trump restored the rightful president, Gonzales, or had free elections, and didn't try to steal the oil, are we ready to go ahead and do this in Cuba and Nicaragua, and the other 70-100 dictatorships in the world.
I share with Gary the belief that we need more robust actions against dictatorships, but the US needs to engage with the regional powers like the OAS. The danger I see in having a doctrine of aggressive action against countries not in self defense or fabricating a drug related excuse, is that it will lead to more countries in the world doing this, and not in the name of democracy but against it.
I would like us to work toward getting out the dictators in Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Cuba, but I dont know the answer is just by unilateral military action.

Reading this after an entire childhood and young adulthood of socialist/progressive circle-jerking about their ideological superiority, it has been very refreshing to read from someone who can slice through all of the bullshit so easily.
Well reasoned and fair article, thank you.

Mamdani is going to issue guidance. Okay. What kind of guidance? He said relevant but what would that even be? He’s a mayor. This isn’t Covid.

Trump skeptics? Skeptics? Really?
We are better off without Trump.
