This is rarely if ever mentioned in the CIA controlled mainstream media, which needs to portray Russia as the aggressor to maintain support for its proxy war; and

● It should have honoured one of its many agreements to end the conflict, each of which would have seen the Donbass return to Ukraine and not be included in some imaginary "Russian Empire". These agreements included: Minsk I, Minsk II, the Steinmeier Formula, and the Istanbul Communique. Instead, Kiev used each and every ceasefire to regroup, rearm, and then continue its assault on the Donbass.
